 everal fairly reliable publications have recently announced a release date for World of Warcraft, but this date is not official and as usual Blizzard has no comment.
Several sources have revealed that the release date for World of Warcraft has been scheduled for June 15th, 2004. Where they recieved this information and whether it is at all accurate can not be confirmed, but the date does fit into Blizzards estimated release time frame.
With Blizzard estimating a closed beta release starting between August and October of this year, it can be guessed that this stage of the beta would most likely last into March or April which will be followed by a beta open to the public most likely lasting into June, after which the game will go gold, packed, shipped, and purchased by the masses just in time for summer.
