 n a recent magazine article Blizzard spilled the beans about the most recently announced class: the Warlock. This offensive magic based character centers around Fire and Shadow magic and will be adept at direct damage spells, such as Firebolt and Death Coil, and D.O.T. (damage over time) spells like Immolate and Corruption.
In addition to the Warlocks ability to cast offensive magic it will also be able to summon pets including Imps, Fel Hounds, Succubi, Void Walkers, and Infernals. As the warlock increases in level, its pets will become increasingly powerful. Each time a Warlock summons a specific type of pet, it will always be the same pet, which supposedly the warlock can name, so it will seem to be more like an actual pet and not just a heartless drone. |
