 lizzard still has not confirmed or denied an Undead race, but that hasn't kept people from speculating about its implimentation into the game. An interesting idea is being spread around: Undead are not an actual race, but simply any race who has become undead. This, in turn, has lead to some speculation that Undead characters will not be created like other characters, but instead a high level character may become undead through a quest or a ritual.
Of course this is all just speculation, but nonetheless a very intriguing idea. Another clue that feeds this rumor is the belief that all races will have at least one other racial ally. So unless 3 more races are to be announced (a night elf ally, the undead, and an undead ally) or the Undead will be allied with Night Elves, an Undead race seems unlikely. |
