 arrived at Fry's around 10 and by no means was I the first person there. I think the first guy got there around 6 I guess. I was actually about 50th in line I think. It was pretty cool, especially since it was my first time ever going to a Fry's! I couldn't believe they have 40 checkout lines, and from what I've heard, they are ALWAYS busy. It's awesome in there. After passing out some free candy and flyers, they opened the doors at 11:30 as promised, but wouldn't allow you to actually buy/leave the store with TFT till 12:01.
You were able to, however, buy audio/video hardware before then. By the time I finished snagging my copies of TFT/Free shirts and having them all signed by the WC staff, I wound up at the check out time with only having to wait about 10-15 minutes before I could check out. After checking out, I moseyed on back to the booth, to check out a couple of guys playing TFT and to install it on my notebook! :o) Okay, a little geekish since I couldn't play bnet till I got home anyway. (Did I mentioned I drove up there from Gilroy?)
Anyway, after getting home, I logged onto bnet to find an update just waiting for me. After restarting, I logged back on but the chat rooms were empty so I decided to call it a nite.
Did I mention I got 2 autographed T-Shirts? :o) I'm keeping 1 for me but expect to fight for that second one in our next contest (whatever that may be).
I would have taken some better pictures but I didn't want to jeopardize my place in line, so this is the best I could do. Enjoy!
