 ispite everyone's enthusiasm and excitement, Kat has officially stated that there will not be an update patch this weekend.
The development team has been determined to get the patch out to everyone this evening and have worked hard to fulfill that goal. However, due to some technical issues, they have decided not to release the patch tonight or this weekend. The team will continue to work on the patch tonight and tomorrow.
Please check back on Monday. We will keep you posted on the state of the next patch.

 atricia has just posted on the official forums that people will be able to buy non combatant pets. Currently she has only mentioned kitties, (sheesh, had to be biased didn't she) but we suspect there will be a greater range of available pets. Hopefully for the pirate lovers, there will be purchasable parot friends to perch on your shoulder and eat crackers etc etc etc :). Check out the forum post here |
