 he new World of Warcraft game-client update is now available and ready for download! Here are some of the changes in the patch:
- Holiday Events: Some cool decorations and events have been included around the game world to celebrate the holidays
- Maraudon: A new dungeon for levels 40-49 in Desolace
- Cloak & Helm Graphics: You can now turn on or off cloak and helm graphics
Just log in to World of Warcraft to get the patch; the download process will start automatically. To see all the changes, read the complete patch notes

Because I'm in the UK and wanted the CE of WoW I had to order online from Gameplay. Turns out this may be slightly in my favour, as I just got this reply back from them after emailing to ask how much longer we'll be waiting for our pre-order beta disks...
"Hi,
We are expecting stock of the Beta kits in around the 18/12/04, so we will
send them out to customers ASAP after that date.
Thanks,
Gameplay After Sales"
Which at least puts pay to speculation the beta was starting this week! Obviously they'll be aiming to get it out before the 25th (well, if there's any sanity in the world they will, anyway!), but even from Solstice onwards doesn't seem to be an unreasonable hope. |

 ur last poll had some good results. I was surprised even a little :P Actually, I really thought more people would be against the whole server localization but it turns out there was a stronger motion for it.
